Xuewu Zheng


Xuewu Zheng was born in the Heilongjiang Province, China. Was Visiting Professor at the Arts College of Harbin Normal University from 2003 to 2008 and was a Visiting Scholar at the North Carolina University at Chapel Hill, NC in 2004. Founder of the China Korea Art Association and regularly shows and curates in Beijing and the USA. Selected solo exhibitions include Century Text: Meditations at the Palmer Gallery, Vassar College, NY (2017); Zheng Xuewu: A Survey, API Gallery, New York, NY (2013) and galleries in Hong Kong, South Korea and China. Notable group shows include Two Generations - 20 Years of Chinese Contemporary Art (Australian tour, 2012); Asian art (Seoul, South Korea, 2012/Beijing, China 2011) and the Chinese Contemporary Art Exhibition, Cork Art Museum (Ireland, 2011). Works can be found in private and public collections worldwide including that of the National Art Museum of China, Kollwitz-Museum-Berlin (Germany) and Woo Jae-Gil Art Museum (South Korea).
